Ryan Haynes
Our Winemaker

Growing up in the Northern Adelaide Hills, Our Winemaker Ryan developed an interest in wine during his high school days. Attending school in the heart of the Barossa Valley driving through the vines each and everyday. This enthusiasm lead to University studies where Ryan completed an Undergraduate Degree Bachelor of Wine Marketing along with a Postgraduate, Master of Oenology Degree, both from the distinguished Waite/Roseworthy Wine Education Precinct at the University of Adelaide.
Starting out with a small family-owned Adelaide Hills wine business. Gaining further hands on vintage experience across several Large and medium Barossa Based wine Companies, the lure of overseas travel lead Ryan to undertake vintages in the esteemed Napa Valley, USA (at Chateau Montelena) and West Sussex, England (at Nyetimber).
On his return an opportunity arose with one of the most Iconic Australia wine companies to hone his winemaking skills. With direct responsibilities for all operational winemaking of a large sparkling wine portfolio from carbonated, charmat, transfer through to traditional method wines. With particular focus on premium products from Tasmania, Adelaide Hills and Marlborough in NZ.
Ryan also owns and runs a wine consultancy company that advises other wine businesses in wine making, sales, marketing, and exporting.
